CEREC^® Single Visit Tooth Restoration / Crown System

Thanks to recent innovations in dentistry, we are now able to offer patients a kinder, gentler and faster way of restoring damaged or decayed teeth in a single office visit.

Our office has installed the CEREC® restoration equipment, which allows us to complete a ceramic tooth restoration chairside, using an optical impression of the damaged tooth, eliminating the traditionally uncomfortable and cumbersome process of taking a physical impression. The “filling”, crown, or veneer is manufactured using Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) technology in my office while the patient waits, in less than 20 minutes, requiring no return visit. The milled restoration is extremely precise, very durable, color-matched, metal-free, and made with biocompatible tooth-colored material. In addition, the procedure allows me to treat patients more conservatively, as modern bonding techniques allow more healthy tooth structure to be saved.
